Are you looking for sound absorption panels? You will find your ideal solution right here. Our acoustics experts will be glad to assist you. Please, do not hesitate to contact us.
Important note: Please always give us a telephone number and time when we could contact you the best.
Different material thicknesses, profiles and types affect the efficiency of certain frequency ranges. The fact is that the thicker the material, the better the absorption effect, especially for low frequencies. On account of the high quality of the specifically developed acoustic core an efficient sound absorption is achieved even with low material thicknesses.
Depending on the application area you can adjust the absorption efficiency to your personal requirements by combining different material thicknesses and acoustic elements.
Our team of experienced experts will be glad to support you with professional advice and planning.
Heavy acoustic film lamination
These are heavy, very flexible films without lining material that are minerally filled. The heavy acoustic film has an above-average surface weight, whereby deep
frequencies and material vibrations are absorbed. The composition of the heavy acoustic film provides it with excellent absorption properties, including in low temperatures.
In addition, the material is designed to be flame-retardant and is laminated under your aixFOAM basic product as a base material with this option. Alternatively,
the aixFOAM heavy acoustic film SH0131 is also available as an individual product (refer to overview of products).
Processing instructions Acoustic Heavy Foil: Our Acoustic Heavy Foil is equipped with a specially developed acrylic based adhesive system. The adhesive system must be used only on flat surfaces at macro level,
e.g. sheet metal and aluminium. On rough surfaces the adhesive system can be used as mounting asssistance only.
Further information is available in our technical datasheets and processing instructions, which could be send free of charge upon request.
Select heavy acoustic film lamination
Without mounting aid
You would like to attach or glue the acoustic elements yourself? Then select "None". Please note that a glue-free adhesive is used when gluing. However, we always recommend our self-adhesive equipment for gluing.
aixFOAM self-adhesive equipment
The back of the absorber is coated by machine in the factory with a solvent-free adhesive system and covered with lining paper. This lining paper must be removed before bonding.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette without accessory
>You will receive your individual sound absorber framed by a high-quality assembly/suspension cassette made of anodised aluminium. The aixFOAM cassette can be used for horizontal, vertical or floating assembly.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette including aixFOAM oscillating plugs
You will receive your individual sound absorber framed by a high-quality assembly/suspension cassette made of anodised aluminium. aixFOAM oscillating plugs serve the professional spaced-erection of the aixFOAM flat-mounted- or pendant assembly cassettes. The spacing prevents the transmission of acoustic vibrations to the substrate (masonry). In addition, the efficiency of all aixFOAM absorbers in the lower range frequencies is enhanced in combination with the aixFOAM flat-mounted- or pendant assembly cassettes.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette with aixFOAM pendant system Style
The aixFOAM pendant system style serves the suspension of aixFOAM pendant assembly cassettes. By means of this pendant system, you have the possibility of suspending the aixFOAM sound absorber of your choice, in combination with the aixFOAM flat-mounted or pendant assembly cassettes, either horizontal suspended from a ceiling, or vertically from a side walling. The suspension cords have a maximum length of around 1000 mm, and can be individually shortened upon erection, so that the aixFOAM sound absorber can be optimally placed.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette with aixFOAM pendant system Basic
The aixFOAM pendant system basic serves the suspension of aixFOAM pendant assembly cassettes.

These sound insulation mats with a flat surface offer unbeatable characteristics in terms of acoustics and flexibility. Thanks to these characteristics, they are extremely popular with mechanical engineers, automotive engineers and shipbuilders as well as technicians.
The soundproofing mats are distinguished by their outstanding absorption values, extremely high flame resistance (fire protection classification DIN4102 B1 without acoustic heavy foil lamination) and chemical resistance. That makes them suitable for almost every technical area that requires increased fire protection as well as high resistance to the effects of chemicals. Among other things, the SH0011 aixFOAM acoustic panels are successfully used for machine insulation, soundproofing cabins for machinery and for sound insulation in ship and rail car building.
The sound insulation panels can be used very flexibly. Since we work with the latest-generation CNC cutting plants, we are able to guarantee that our products are manufactured to the highest technical standards.
Because of their open-cell pore structure, the acoustic panels are very lightweight. At the same time, they have a high sound absorption capacity and very good heat insulation properties.Request your personalized quote right away – no strings attached, of course.
Absorption level based on frequency ranges and material thickness
SH0011 MH is resistant to a large number of substances as per EN ISO 175. Its highly networked structure creates a strong resistance to all organic solvents. Combined with acids and bases, their temperature, concentration and residence time can seriously impact resistance. Therefore this should be carefully checked on a case-by-case basis. For more detailed information, we will be happy to provide you with the corresponding data sheet.
This product is manufactured as per DIN 7715 Part 5 P3. Further item-specific properties can be found in our online help section under Properties of duromere foams.

Strict fire protection standard required?
These acoustic elements with flat surfaces meet fire protection classification DIN4102 B1 (without acoustic heavy foil lamination) and thus facilitate approval during fire protection inspections.
aixFOAM self-adhesive backing
To facilitate self-assembly, we mechanically apply a solvent-free adhesive system to the reverse side of the absorbers, with stabilizing diagonally laid scrims. The covering is protected by liner paper, which can be easily removed before adhesion. The stabilizing diagonally laid scrims that characterize our high-quality aixFOAM products guarantee higher form stability for the sound insulation.
aixFOAM assembly/suspension cassette
A very popular option is suspending sound insulation panels immediately above the noise source (machine, plant) using an aixFOAM assembly-suspension cassette, hanging it from the ceiling using a suspension system. This solution can be implemented with little expense and is very efficient.
In addition to their static support function, the assembly/suspension cassettes also increase the acoustic effect of the sound insulation mats, since they also absorb deep sound frequencies thanks to their “counter-vibration effect.” You can find more information in the article aixFOAM assembly/suspension cassettes under “Accessories”.
There is also the option of installing aixFOAM SH0011 MH sound insulation mats in existing machine structures or housing structures using an assembly cassette. This approach makes it possible to construct a self-supporting machine housing at a reasonable cost.

Material options Fire classification DIN4102 B1 (see Basic Acoustic Knowledge – fire classifications)The shown fire classification refer exclusively to the acoustic foam chosen.
With a few exceptions, the acoustic foam offered with fire classification DIN 4102 B1 or B2 is also certified including the self-adhesive equipment.
Please refer to the detailed listing of the corresponding fire classification in the corresponding technical product data sheet.
Each of our engineerline products is available in various material thicknesses and in the associated packing units.
The aixFOAM acoustic panels offered here are generally manufactured on an order-by-order basis because of the large number of options we offer. That allows us to provide each customer with a customized aixFOAM sound absorption product that is tailored to the customer’s specific needs.
Thanks to their wide absorption spectrum and their outstanding sound insulation even at low material thicknesses, aixFOAM acoustic panels can be used in many different areas. Their flat surface guarantees optimal acoustic conditions for every technical area that requires sound insulation.
The ideal applications are in areas with high fire protection requirements.
