Acoustic heavy foam for effective structure-borne sound insulation and vibration damping

Heavy foam for reducing structure-borne sound, vibrations and low-frequency noise

Acoustic heavy foam is the ideal solution when not only airborne sound but also structure-borne sound, material vibrations and mechanical oscillations need to be reduced.

Due to its high surface weight and high material density, the composite foam effectively dampens low-frequency noise and is particularly suitable for vibration damping, sound insulation and structure-borne sound reduction in machines and systems, vehicles and technical housings.

Effective vibration damping for machines and technical systems

The highly compressed heavy foam reliably reduces material vibrations and disturbing resonances. As a result, machines, units and technical systems operate significantly quieter and with fewer vibrations. Especially in applications with high mechanical loads, acoustic heavy foam contributes to improved operational safety and a more pleasant working environment.

Robust, durable and individually adaptable

Thanks to its permanently elastic and resilient material structure, acoustic heavy foam is suitable for demanding industrial applications. The heavy foam sheets can be easily cut, manufactured as custom shapes and optionally supplied with a self-adhesive backing. This allows precise sound insulation of complex machine panels, technical enclosures and vehicle components.

Acoustic heavy foam for industry, mechanical engineering and vehicle construction

Whether in mechanical and equipment engineering, plant engineering, loudspeaker construction or automotive technology – acoustic heavy foam impresses with its high mass, temperature resistance and reliable structure-borne sound insulation. Products such as HEAVY Duty Tec composite foam and the SILVER Silence sound insulation panel with aluminium coating provide powerful solutions for vibration damping, sound insulation and noise reduction in demanding technical applications.
