This high quality acoustic product is made on our precision machinery according to DIN 7715 Part 5 P3.

In the production (foaming) of this acoustic material different sized pores (voids) can arise. Voids are typical for the material, do not represent a quality defect and do not affect the acoustic properties of the absorber.

Absorption values

Unlike for sound absorbers in panel form, which are placed over a large area on wall or ceiling surfaces, it does not make sense to specify pure sound absorption degrees for free-standing absorbers, such as our low-frequency absorbers. This would not be meaningful or physically useful.

Therefore, our bass absorbers from RWTH University were tested for their sound absorption effect in extensive measurements in accordance with DIN 52212, taking into account the equivalent absorption surface. The complete measurement log with detailed explanations and all numerical results can be found in the corresponding data sheet if necessary. We will be happy to send this to you on request.

‘With our bass trap BASSIC you receive an all-rounder against irritating bass frequencies – and at a very good price-performance ratio. The larger the absorber selected, the lower the frequencies that can be absorbed. My tip: Stack several bass absorbers on top of each other to strengthen the effect even more. In this way you achieve a precise bass reproduction, without flatter echoes, drumming or humming. You must also ensure that the absorbers are placed in the corners with the points facing into the room.’
