Are you looking for sound absorption panels? You will find your ideal solution right here. Our acoustics experts will be glad to assist you. Please, do not hesitate to contact us.
Important note: Please always give us a telephone number and time when we could contact you the best.
Different material thicknesses, profiles and types affect the efficiency of certain frequency ranges. The fact is that the thicker the material, the better the absorption effect, especially for low frequencies. On account of the high quality of the specifically developed acoustic core an efficient sound absorption is achieved even with low material thicknesses.
Depending on the application area you can adjust the absorption efficiency to your personal requirements by combining different material thicknesses and acoustic elements. Our team of experienced experts will be glad to support you with professional advice and planning.
Without mounting aid
You would like to attach or glue the acoustic elements yourself? Then select "None". Please note that a glue-free adhesive is used when gluing. However, we always recommend our self-adhesive equipment for gluing.
aixFOAM self-adhesive equipment
The back of the absorber is coated by machine in the factory with a solvent-free adhesive system and covered with lining paper. This lining paper must be removed before bonding.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette without accessory
>You will receive your individual sound absorber framed by a high-quality assembly/suspension cassette made of anodised aluminium. The aixFOAM cassette can be used for horizontal, vertical or floating assembly.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette including aixFOAM oscillating plugs
You will receive your individual sound absorber framed by a high-quality assembly/suspension cassette made of anodised aluminium. aixFOAM oscillating plugs serve the professional spaced-erection of the aixFOAM flat-mounted- or pendant assembly cassettes. The spacing prevents the transmission of acoustic vibrations to the substrate (masonry). In addition, the efficiency of all aixFOAM absorbers in the lower range frequencies is enhanced in combination with the aixFOAM flat-mounted- or pendant assembly cassettes.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette with aixFOAM pendant system Style
The aixFOAM pendant system style serves the suspension of aixFOAM pendant assembly cassettes. By means of this pendant system, you have the possibility of suspending the aixFOAM sound absorber of your choice, in combination with the aixFOAM flat-mounted or pendant assembly cassettes, either horizontal suspended from a ceiling, or vertically from a side walling. The suspension cords have a maximum length of around 1000 mm, and can be individually shortened upon erection, so that the aixFOAM sound absorber can be optimally placed.
Assembly/Suspension Cassette with aixFOAM pendant system Basic
The aixFOAM pendant system basic serves the suspension of aixFOAM pendant assembly cassettes.
Sound insulation elements without fire protection (Polyether)
Acoustic absorbers without supplemental fire protection are usually used for building loudspeakers or in facilities where no fire protection measures are required. As manufacturer of high-quality sound insulation elements we offer acoustic solutions with different fire protection classifications, up to flame-resistant elements according to DIN4102 B1. We always recommend our customers to contact an official expert, an architect or the construction authorities for the correct information on the respective requirements. Zonder brandbeveiliging (Polyether)

DIN 4102 B1
Probably one of the most significant fire protection standards in the construction sector is the acoustic insulation foam DIN4102 B1. This is the highest classification which can be achieved for acoustic foam without the addition of non-mineral additives. These foams are self-extinguishing. Our thermoset acoustic elements of our architect or engineer product lines meet all the B1 requirements. The appropriate test standard is available for download in German. DIN 4102 B1
DIN 4102 B2
This classification stands for normal flammability. However, materials classified as DIN 4102 B2 generally burn slowly. The appropriate test standard is available for download in German. DIN 4102 B2
FMVSS 302 DIN 75200
Acoustic foams of this classifications are often used in the automotive industry and for engineering applications. The flame propagation speed is reduced by adding fire retardants (4inches/minute). The appropriate test standard is available for download in German. FMVSS 302
UL94 HF1
This material is self-extinguishing and do not drip. The appropriate test standard is available for download in German. UL94 HF1
FAR 25.853
FAR 25.853 vertical burn test was carried out by the Lufthansa laboratories in Hamburg and documented under the test certificate of the Lufthansa Technik AG, official approval number 6040/2005. This is certificate, officially recognized by the Luftfahrtbundesamt, also known as Flammability Material Test Certificate FAR25.853. During this procedure, a sample is vertically subject to an 800C° Bunsen burner flame for duration of 12 seconds. The flame has to extinguish itself within 15 seconds. Also it must not spread more than 8 inches (203mm). The appropriate test standard is available for download in German. UL94 HF1 + FAR25.853
We recommend clarifying your required fire rating with the local authorities.

More information about this product is available, if required, in the accompanying datasheet. We are happy to provide you with this upon request.
The measurements of the absorption coefficient were performed on polyester acoustic foams from RWTH Aachen. All values refer to absorbers with a size of 100 cm x 50 cm and were calculated according to DIN 52212.
