The spacing prevents the transmission of acoustic vibrations to the substrate (masonry). In addition, the efficiency of all aixFOAM absorbers in the lower range frequencies is enhanced in combination with the aixFOAM flat-mounted- or pendant assembly cassettes.

The aixFOAM pendant system style serves the suspension of aixFOAM pendant assembly cassettes. By means of this pendant system, you have the possibility of suspending the aixFOAM sound absorber of your choice, in combination with the aixFOAM flat-mounted or pendant assembly cassettes, either horizontal suspended from a ceiling, or vertically from a side walling. The suspension cords have a maximum length of around 1000 mm, and can be individually shortened upon erection, so that the aixFOAM sound absorber can be optimally placed.

The aixFOAM pendant system basic serves the suspension of aixFOAM pendant assembly cassettes. Sound absorber/ sound insulation in the reverberation chamber when calculating the absorption coefficients

Our aixFOAM sound absorbers have been tested for Hertz and pores in the reverberation chamber of renowned institutions such as RWTH University or the Technical University in Aachen. The sound absorption coefficients according to DIN 52212 stated above were calculated in extensive measurements.
