Room acoustics is a special science that ensures good intelligibility of speech and an optimal listening experience. The room acoustics are determined by the proportion of direct sound, the time delay and direction of early reflections as well as the delay in use and spatial distribution of the reverberation at the total sound level and the reverberation time. Depending on the use of the room, e.g. as an open-plan office, theatre, swimming pool, classroom, etc., there is a recommended reverberation time or the specific room situation gives the need for acoustic measures.

Industrial acoustics, it is important to reduce machine noise and production noise in such a way that the increasingly strict limit values of the Noise Protection Ordinance are complied with.
